The Legally Blonde auditions will take place on Saturday 1 and Saturday 2 December at the Griffith Regional Theatre. Please call the theatre on (02) 6962 8444 to book your audition slot.
All auditionees must also attend a dance session on either the Saturday or Sunday.
Are there any other ways to be involved in the show, I’m not a performer?
Absolutely! We have opportunities available in the band, backstage team, hair & makeup, wardrobe and more!
I can’t make the audition dates, can I still be part of the show?
Yes, of course you can. Please contact Raina at the Griffith Regional Theatre on 6962 8444.
I can’t make a performance date, can I still be involved?
All cast must be available for all the performances and Production Week dates.
Do I have to do a singing, acting and dancing audition? I can’t SING!
Don’t worry! We will be working with everyone on skills throughout the show, just try your best in your audition!
Do I have to audition for a specific role?
No, you can audition to be part of the ensemble. The production team may also choose you for a role if suitable.
I want to audition for a role, but am outside of the suggested age for that character. Is that ok?
The ages listed with characters are an idea of the age that the character should be played at, and not the age you must be to play it. If you can convincing portray a 25 year old, go for it!
Do I have to audition with an American accent?
We’d love to see everyone give the accent a go but don’t worry too much about it.
How many people will get cast?
We are looking for 40 – 50 people. This will include main characters, featured roles, dancers and non-speaking roles.
Who will be on the audition panel?
The panel will consist of the Director, Musical Director and Choreographer, plus an audition assistant.
